On June 26, Metallurgical Machinery Company held a ceremony marking the commissioning of its new factory building, signaling further improvements to the company’s infrastructure and ushering in a new phase of development. Li Xinzhan, General Manager of the joint-stock company, along with Vice General Manager Wang Yongjun and other company leaders, attended the inauguration ceremony. Building the Yuguang Mechanical Manufacturing sector is a strategic move by Yuguang. Since the establishment of Metallurgical Machinery Company on January 10, 2013, the group company and the joint-stock company have provided strong support, helping the company push forward institutional reforms and expand into new markets. Over the past five years, the company’s industrial output value has grown significantly—from over 20 million yuan initially to an estimated 80 million yuan this year, representing a fourfold increase.

On May 24, the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Henan Provincial Department of Finance jointly issued the "Notice from the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Henan Provincial Department of Finance on Announcing the List of First (Set) Major Technical Equipment Products Identified in Henan Province for the First Batch of 2018" (Document No. Yu Gong Xin Lian Zhuang [2018] No. 99). The automated zinc-peeling complete equipment developed by the Metallurgical Machinery Company successfully passed the certification, making it the first enterprise in Jiyuan City to achieve recognition as a unit qualified for the province's first (set) major technical equipment initiative. The company's leadership provided strong support throughout the application process for the provincial first (set) major technical equipment program. This book primarily focuses on the most fundamental and widely used metallurgical equipment in modern smelting processes. Starting from the moment metallurgical raw materials enter the plant, it systematically introduces each piece of equipment in the sequence of material flow, emphasizing both the technical expertise and practical applications of metallurgical machinery. Special attention is given to incorporating new equipment developed and implemented in metallurgical plants since 2000, while also providing detailed information on current equipment models and guidelines for selecting the most suitable options.

On the morning of May 31, Director Tian and his delegation from the Jiyuan City Science and Technology Bureau visited Metallurgical Machinery Company to conduct a preliminary review of the company’s high-tech enterprise application materials and carry out an on-site inspection. They highly praised Metallurgical Machinery Company’s efforts in preparing for the high-tech enterprise application. Since officially launching the application process in August 2017, the company has established a dedicated high-tech enterprise task force, collaborating with the city’s science and technology bureau as well as professional firms to provide training and guidance to relevant personnel. To date, the company has successfully completed the submission of its R&D project forms and high-tech product/service reports, while also efficiently organizing and compiling data related to R&D expenses. During the visit, Wang Yongjun, Chairman of Metallurgical Machinery Company, accompanied the city’s science and technology bureau leaders on a tour of the company’s assembly workshop and machining facilities.
