Henan Yuguang Metallurgical Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has been listed on the 2020 Henan Province Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise Ranking.

Recently, the Henan Provincial Intellectual Property Office announced the list of Henan's Strong Intellectual Property Enterprises for 2020, featuring a total of 122 companies. Among them, Henan Yuguang Metallurgical Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yuguang Metallurgical Machinery Company) was proudly recognized as a provincial-level enterprise with outstanding intellectual property strengths in 2020. It is the only enterprise from the Jiyuan Demonstration Zone to make the list.

To deeply implement the intellectual property strategy, strengthen the creation, protection, and application of intellectual property rights, and promote high-quality development of intellectual property, the province aims to comprehensively enhance its capability for innovation-driven development and bolster the core competitiveness of enterprises. Additionally, the goal is to accelerate the establishment of a group of robust intellectual property enterprises that possess independent intellectual property rights and enjoy competitive advantages within their respective industries, thereby supporting the province’s economic transformation and upgrading. To this end, the Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau has decided to launch a province-wide initiative to register and cultivate these "strong IP enterprises."

From Yuguang Since its establishment, the Metallurgical Machinery Company has consistently upheld the philosophy of technological innovation, continuously increasing its investment in R&D. As a result, the company has achieved groundbreaking progress in industry-academia-research collaboration and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. A series of high-end metallurgical automation equipment developed by the company have collectively secured numerous intellectual property rights. 27 items in total, including 4 invention patents, 21 utility model patents, and 2 software copyrights. The company’s independently developed "Fully Automatic Zinc Stripping Complete Equipment" has been recognized as Henan Province's first (set of) major technical equipment. It has previously won the Special Award of Jiyuan City Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as third-place awards from both the China Nonferrous Metals Industry and the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards. After thoroughly studying the "Henan Province Regulations on Filing and Cultivation Management for Intellectual Property-Strong Enterprise Programs," the company’s intellectual property system, patent quality and quantity, and the industrialization of patented technologies fully met the eligibility criteria. Following a series of rigorous steps—including written application, online submission, review and recommendation by the demonstration zone’s intellectual property management department, expert evaluation, and public announcement online—the company was ultimately successfully selected.

According to the relevant provisions of the "Henan Province Measures for Filing and Cultivating Strong Intellectual Property Enterprises," enterprises recognized as having intellectual property advantages through the filing process will receive financial incentives and subsidies from the Provincial Intellectual Property Office. Additionally, these companies will be given priority support in specialized initiatives such as patent pledge financing subsidies, patent information services, high-value patent cultivation, recommendations for patent awards, and tailored training and guidance programs. Moving forward, Yuguang Metallurgical Machinery Company will actively seek access to these targeted policy funds, continuing to prioritize innovation, strengthen brand development, optimize its product portfolio, and drive the metallurgical equipment industry toward a transformative shift—from automation into the realm of intelligent technologies.
